I currently live in my native North Norway, where I've been told, by lots of different people, that the very best thing I could ever do would be to move to a different country, like the UK, Denmark or Holland. Being hiv positive here, in North Norway, is a terribly lonely condition; and this is really all that people around me understand about the disease: they can all agree that it's got to be so much easier if you have the opportunity to meet with and strike a relationship with other hiv positive people, which means one had better take residence in a very big city, and that means somewhere to the south, east or west of little Norway.
While I am not planning to move, as of right now, I can only be truthful, and say that I'm urgently in need of getting to know some other people who are tested hiv positive. That would be the reason why I joined this forum: hoping that I can get to know other people who are struggling with some of the same things as I am. As for now, I don't know anyone, and I am joining this forum, hopeful that I might get to know someone here. It is what I'm here for, anyway.

`I'am 51 year old AA female and I have HIV for 11 months. It is so hard to have friends, I know a lot of gay men that have HIV. I am straight and married and my husband doesn't have HIV. It is hard for me to really talk about how I feel deep down in side about my status. Exspecially when no one understands. I people in my life that I can relate too.
