I Joined this site a few days ago. I was diagnosed positive 5 years ago. When I reviewed the timeline of events up until when I was diagnosed, I am sure I was infected 10 years ago. Since then I am divorced and I only date in the community. My x-wife is negative.
When I was diagnosed I confided with my cousin who was a doctor. My cousin lost her license to practice medicine due to a drug addiction, so at the time I was diagnosed she was studying acupuncture, and other alternative treatments and solutions.
My diagnoses prompted her to research HIV. With in a few days she told me not to take any medication for HIV, and I should eat more raw fruits and vegetables.
She told me that HIV is not the cause of AIDS. I was blown away. She turned me on to the argument between Dr. Robert Gallo vs. Professor Peter Duesberg.

`Jason just keep and eye on you Virol loads .. Nothing wrong with nutritional at all. I walk around being HIV for a long time not knowing it.. Ended up getting and infection of the brain called HIV/Encephalitis caused by the HIV.. Almost killed me .. This time last year I was using a walker.. It has put me on disability.. But I have my life and that is what counts to me.. So please do what you are doing just pay attention what is going on inside you..
