Met with Aliveness Cooridnator today left disappointed.

I was in the town where the program was located today and decided to see if he could help me on a few general questions. I kind of got a vibe he was feeling ill or some thing was going on with him. He was very direct but not willing to offer any more information than I was asking specifically for.
What he told me was the reason sites didn't offer as much activity as I had hoped for was the "stigma" of HIV and people don't want to be associated with it. I guess because I am newly diagnosed and kinda naive to the issues that I was hoping to find more people being active on sites.
I live in rural NW Indiana and their isn't really anything going on for me within a 45 min drive.
Well I hope others will be more active it would be nice to not be so alone.

`Hi! I'm searching now too to find some discussion on internet. I feel like the importance of the question is worth paying attention to it despite the reaction it may cause. At same time I think situation now is very much better then 10 or 20 years ago. I don't see any serious reasons not to disclose or speak out my opinion now when I feel like doing it.
