Woo hoo...Was just diagnosed this year, was suffering and finally found a dr who tested me and saved my life for sure...I had a cd4 count 0f 24, and a viral load of over 600,000. After a 3 month regimen of isentress and truvada, supplimental bactrum as well...I just received my latest blood work results and was amazed. My viral load was 34 down from thousands, and my cd4 was thankfully up to 315...and counting! Hoping next test will be better, and viral undetectable...My thoughts are with all of you experiencing this disease, and wish all the best today and in the future for all...Just wanted to share a good thought from my personal experience! :D

`I just found out in Nov/Dec 2011 that I was positive. I was very sick with very low CD4 counts. My CD4 counts were 9 and viral load was in the millions, was in hospital for 2 weeks and same here finally found the right doctor to test me and knew about my symtoms. After 1 month on atripal my counts went up, CD4 to 435 and viral to 1675. I feel a lot better now but still having side effects from meds. Thank god there are meds out there now and they work.

`i found out in 2006 but to start didntwant to follow treatment, wrongmove as last year i was a with a viral load count of 28000000 and cd4 count of 120, been this last year under treaatment and today i am with a undetectable viralload and my CD4 up to 385.
I am positive about it, and i do believe beeing positive mind is one of the secrets to fight this.
Only one thing is making me feel bit down is the fact to be alone, i have been trying to be honest and say to possible o partener about it but what i always had back was thempushing me away, now i found this website and hope here I find someone who will accept me as iam.

`I waited a long time before starting meds. My VL never really reached above 60K but my CD4 dropped to under 100 once recently. So I finally decided to start meds --I have 2 boys to think about and want to live for them as long as I can -- and so far it's been a really good experience. Atripla has been a great med. It's only one pill a day and I haven't noticed any side effects yet. Just glad to share with others out there like me who are doing their best to live and thrive.
