taking the first step Im smart, Im funny, Im witty and quirky, Im accepting, Im athletic, Im passionate and honest. I pride myself most on my creativity, and love to read and love to write. Im professional at work but love thrills a minute but find sanity in the mundane. I have been up and been down, but always find that no matter how bad I think I have it, there are so many people that have it worse than I. I don't wallow in self pity and can't stand those that do - don't forget self-righteousness is a major boo too. What do I want from this website? The answer is, who knows. Do I want a relationship? Perhaps. I have sat back from life for 18 months and battled cancer among the other reason we all seem to be here and found that a hospital is not exactly the greatest place to find a date. My story is somewhat different than most, in fact its been cited in medical journals, but that doesnt change the ultimate bottom line. It is what it is, and I am who I am - someone who doesn't use labels, is grateful to everyone who has ever taken care of me, and most importantly I am just... normal and I'm just me, and Im truly looking for someone close to my age, that shares my interests.
