I won't go on endlessly about how wonderful I am. Although, I shall say that I am honest (to a fault), emotionally available, talkative, affectionate, uninhibited by societal norms,fiercely independent, and very passionate. I'd like to find a special man with whom I can share my life that also possesses those traits.

My life is pretty crazy right now. I am about halfway through my PhD studies (scientific discipline), and finding more time in my day seems to be a perpetual concern. Even though time is a valuable commodity, I always make time for the people and things that are most important to me. I believe life is to be lived, not planned to be lived. I guess as gay men, we are often times lead to believe that "looking" for a lover is a sign of desperation, but I've come to realize that that's ridiculous. If you aren't looking for what you want, you may not see it.

I am not what most would consider to be the prototypical gay man. I go to the gym, but very far from obsessed with it. I am working on making my body a bit healthier. I love good a conversation, and I guess I should mention, I am not afraid to broach difficult or controversial topics with others. I believe that you only truly know people when you've made the effort to understand why they feel the way they feel and think the way they think. I am not afraid to discuss what is on my mind and I openly welcome others to do the same. When excited, I am loud and often times express myself with fulsome gestures. Some love it, while others hate it, but it is sincere and a function of my hearty attitude towards life. But please don't think that I am a complete loudmouth either. I do know when to tone things down and just "be" as well.

238 characters left! I should say, I prefer the "bottom" side of things and am not afraid to discuss what I like se---lly. Prudish is definitely not a word ANYONE would use to describe me.
