Today is the day to seize......tomorrow is another lost day. I have always been a positive person and refuse to let my HIV diagnosis rob me of who I am. I am looking for someone who can and will see me for who I am and appreciate me for all the good gifts that I bring to every relationship, whether it be friendship or dating.
I am an educated, driven individual who loves life and loves people; one who chooses to see the glass half-full; one who strives for different successes daily.
Someone once said of me that I am comparable to a torrent rain after the most arid summer. I am not sure if that is refreshing or not, but he seemed to think it was a compliment.
I strive to see the beauty in all things. I can appreciate most things in life, especially those that most consider mistakes, as I firmly believe that my life experiences, good or not-so-good, have helped to create the individual that I am today.
I am passionate about my family, my faith, my friends, faithfulness and fidelity; I am passionate about music and the arts; about showering my partner with just the right amount of love and attention without being smothering.
I am looking for someone who can add to my life. I feel pretty complete as a person, but would love someone to share that with. I seek someone who is intelligent, stable, passionate and loyal. Someone who learns and grows from every challenge and/or opportunity in their life; someone who knows that life will stand still if you let it, but refuses to be defeated by destiny, fate or circumstances.
The person that I seek is someone that has a strong grasp on what they are seeking in life and has the tenacity to pursue it. While outer beauty is pleasant to the eye, I must be able to sense and appreciate the inner beauty of that person. I am seeking someone that knows that it is not always easy to love, but when love attempts to elude them, they work diligently to recapture the magic that made the relationship initially beautiful.
