Hi, I was diagnosed hiv positive in 2009, nine years after my husband had passed on.
I was so broken but later came to terms with it and accepted the situation.
When I started my medication, I had some complications or side effects. I felt weak, had headaches and nausea. As time passed, my body began to adapt to the medication.
It's now 17 years and at times, I even forget that I am positive because I live a normal life.
I am positive and I live positively.
