someone that is realistic about life & opportunity Hi, I think that most of us are about the same age, by this time in our lives we should be able to look at life and realize that the only way were ever going to find someone who is compatible and interested in some of the same things in life is to be willing to compromise, we are after all different people, life is not like you see in the movies, yet it is surprising to see so many people out there who want the perfect man, who is the perfect match, who has no bad habits they need to work on, who is rich, or who is perfect in every way...

The truth though is that were not perfect, not you and not me, were not young either for the most part, were fairly set in our ways and we often are intractable in the way we view life.

Many of us are lonely, choosing to be alone because were afraid of getting hurt, because lets face it when your already hurting the last thing you want is to get hurt more.

I recently had an experience that changed this for me, I no longer think that perfection is part of the process, I hope there is someone out there that feels the same way.

Finding a friend is worth the effort, finding a good friend is even better, everyone is busy these days, they move from one thing to another and often do not have time for a full time relationship, that is the truth, they may say they want mr perfect, or mr knight in shinning armor but most of the time the truth is somewhat different. I think it would be great just to have a friend to talk to, if something else happened that would be even better but honesty is so much more appealing than living in the past, or not being realistic about who and what we are in life.
