Am olivia 30 years of age from kenya.a single mom to 2 girls.my connection to my fellow positives is a relief since that it was not easy to admit it at first when i was diagonised.the results drained me emotionally because it was not easy to accept and believe my eyes about the results.but ever since i joined some groups with people of the same status as mine i feel so much relieved and much at peace with my inner self.focusing on my medication,ensuring all the healthy measures and following the doctors prescriptions has helped me in this journey.sometimes i feel low,lonely,stressed but on the same i remember that this is not a life sentence,stigmatisation from the outside world is a challenge since they dont see us fit to be in this world.i lost friends who were like a family to me after i disclosed my status.The bonds broke and i was left all alone but i chose to be strong.its now a month since i discovered that i had the virus.it is not an easy journey but i believe that God had a reason for this to happen to me.my partner as well started acting distant later on leaving me for someone else who was negative.sometimes suicidal thoughts usually crosses my mind when am alone,at work at home,but i again remember that i have two beautiful HIV negative souls that depend and look upon me.i decided to be on my own until when i find someone of the same status who we will be compatible with each other and peddle this together,have a beautiful,happy peaceful marriage life together with our kids.and its my hope that i will at last get that someone in this plattform who trully has the same feelings as i do.no games but someone to love,cherish,respect,value and be loyal to me,someone to focus on our self growth ,understanding and never blame each other because of our past mistakes or the statuses.i pray and hope that God will hear my prayers as i embark on this journey of finding my best half whom he will bless me with in this site.Am thankful and humbled to be part of you all
