I’m originally from Charleston, SC. I have been in San Diego for almost 10 years. I received my diagnosis in 2023 and swiftly got it handled. I take Biktarvy and am non detectable. I don’t let my disease burden me. I only think about it for 30 seconds a day, when I take my pill. I have only told a select few about my disease because there is a negative response associated with it and I have been exposed to some of that. It really made me feel less than trash on the street. So if you have something negative to say about HIV, please don’t say it.
