I'm a soul searching another soul,
Behind the masks of worldly pretensions.
A lost voice that yearns for the music
Of love.
I am looking for you, beautiful stranger.
I am waiting for you to notice and find me,
Among the crowd of shadows.
And when you do,
Take ease,
Swiftness kills romance.
Let our love be
Like the ancient trees,
Caressing the stormy winds.
May I not hear
The screeches of fiends,
Rather, the calling of my angel.
For I long for that day,
That I gaze upon the face of love
As I open my eyes
every break of dawn.
