I Am HIV + my self, I believe it's not a crime to be positive and Iknow life goes beyond being positive,,Iam like any other person in the world, positive or not we're entitled to the everything like anyone else.
Also I worked with HIV communities even before I contracted and I always thought there was nothing wrong with them.But though I still find it hard to tell people especially my friends that I am positive fearing to be judged and to be looked at in another way.
Idont like being treated otherwise because am positive but because I believe other than the viruses running through my blood I am still the same Mercy so I wanna be treated like Mercy.
To my fellows who come out publicly to announce their status ,I am so proud of you,, and I wish I can be bold enough to do the same some day. Keep the spirit, it's worth it
Also to the non detectable am so proud of you. You are heroes
Also I have always wondered if there will ever be a discovery for complete treatment.
Some times I regret Abit, some times I wish I could take the time back and change everything, but then I realize there's nothing I can do,,all I can do is be healthy and positive minded every day, and be greatful for am still alive despite my status.
Other wise I will always say let's take our nuts everyday,,there's a hustle waiting us out their, there are opportunities waiting us out their, there are competitions waiting us out their and most of all there are responsibilities waiting us out their, so don't give up it's now and forever.
Let's stay healthy.
