I am an honest person, loving and very caring. I love to give hope to the hopeless. When i see people being tested and turning out to be hiv positive and they think its all over! They think its the end of the world. I step in at that moment to talk to them and shade light on the truth about it all, by the time am done, they smile, wipe away the tears and they tell me, they are ready to start the journey of a new life full of hope. They walk away with smiles on their faces and determination to continue with their dreams.
Being hiv positive is not a death sentence but a beginning of a desciplined and responsible life style with acceptance.
And the good thing is that no one will ever force you to disclose your hiv status to anyone. You can do that at your own choice , all it takes is for you to live a disciplined and responsible life without infecting any one.
No one should also disclose any persons hiv status without their consent.
With hiv you can live a normal life as long as you adhere to the rules and regulations. Take your meds without fail and take care of others too.
When meds are taken rightly, your hiv status will be undetectable and untransmittable...you will live a normal life for many years to come.
