I firstly find out that I was HIV positive, when I went with my second baby to the clinic for her immunization. This was the routine I would do everytime I took her for her immunization since she was still a baby.So as I was done with my babies appointment,i went to the booth were hiv testing was being done. I got tested so that day it took so long for them to call me back inside, most people who were tested after me were actually called back for their results before me . Lastly they called me in and they told me how it was, eish I felt so numb it was like I was dreaming. I even cried, the guy gave me some time to process everything and then he gave me some counselling after wards . Honestly it wasn't easy for me to accept it, 2 weeks down the line I decided to go back and started with my medication. This year makes it 12 years since I started on this journey.
