I was born in the Bronx, New York. I was placed up for adoption by my birth mother who was fifteen at the time. When she had me I was placed in foster care until I was five years old.
I was infected by a guy I trusted. He never said anything to me. I believed he cared and loved me. He told me after he had been sick with PCP and had a t-cell count of 30. He told me on a street corner in front of all his friends ON MY BIRTHDAY. He knew it was my birthday and he didn�¢??t care. I HAVE BEEN INFECTED FOR 16 YEARS
