I'm a 43 y.o. gay male living in Paramus, in a platonic roommate situation. By profession I am a Psychiatric Social Worker, and possess two Masters Degrees and a Clinical License to practice social work in the state of NJ. I am normally described as either nice-looking or very cute (you can be the judge). I'm very down to earth and consider myself to be a "low maintainence" guy. I enjoy the simple things in life most of all. Things I love are psychology; reading; all four seasons; dining out; good coffee and conversation with friends; movies, gardening; the outdoors; spontaneous road trips; watching tv (Nick@Nite, TNT; USA; FX; AMC; A&E; TCM; and of course the LOGO channel); and quiet evenings at home. I am very family-oriented, and love the many neices and nephews I have. As much as I love to go out, I'm definitly a homebody by nature. Curling up on the sofa watching a good movie with someone I care about can be the best date ever! In regards to health, I've been living with HIV disease for seventeen years now. I've been very fortunate: in all these years I have never been hospitalized for anything related to HIV disease (thank God). I am negative for Hepatitis-C as well. Aside from occassional alcohol use; I've never done a recreational drug in my life, and cannot deal with a guy who smokes. Although I can be very sociable, I refer to have a handful of friends with whom I am very close. I am Roman Catholic in faith, and am of Italian and Irish descent.
The men that appeal to me are down to earth and uncomplicated. I'm much more interested in a "real" looking guy that is masculine (not like the models found in magazines). Education does not matter as much as intelligence. Physically I attracted to mature men that might have a receding hairline; tiny character lines around the eyes; big strong hands and a little paunch. Strong and confident on the outside, but with a warm and tender heart on the inside.
