I'm looking for friends and ideally a man to spend the rest of my life with. I guess my profile tells the story, but I have brown hair (with some gray), a goatee, muscular legs, a few tattoos but no piercings. I'm white, smooth body with hazel eyes. I enjoy hiking, swimming, cycling, scuba diving, white water rafting and lots of other outdoor activities. I've recently been experimenting with yoga and meditation.

I've been positive for 17 years now. Healthy with an undetectable viral load, though I've got a few health issues as a result of being on meds for more than years. I consider myself masculine and goodlooking, and even (I guess) "straight-acting." Most of my friends know about my ------ity and my HIV status, and that I'm a recovering alcoholic/addict(sober 17+ years).

I love to travel. I have a special fondness for Hawaii, and will be going to the Big Island again soon, with some friends. In fact, one of my hobbies is collecting vintage Hawaiian memorabilia. I also collect holiday decorations, and have accumulated enough Christmas ornaments to decorate half a dozen Christmas trees. Fun, until it's time to take them down.

I'm a smart guy, graduated from USC law school and was even a Jeopardy contestant once (I almost won). I didn't' really like practicing law, and recently worked as a substance abuse counselor. I like music too, mostly alternative rock. I live in my own 3-bedroom home in Culver City (on the West side of Los Angeles) with my dog Boomer. I have a witty, sometimes sarcastic sense of humor: one of my best friends tells me I remind him of John Stewart on the Daily Show (which I take as a compliment).

I've been in three different long-term relationships since I was 17. I function best when I have a partner. I value qualities like honesty, integrity and loyalty. Who would think that these would be so difficult to find, even without the complication of HIV? I have to believe that the right man fo
