Starting Over Being newly diagnosed is hard. I think to those who have had it for a while I serve as a reminder of what they've worked so hard to forget (as best they can). I have spent my life searching for my soulmate, my lover, my confidant, my friend, that extraordinary person that totally gets me in every way. Now that person most likely will be HIV positive too. This may sound crazy but if HIV leads me to the love of my life, then I will gladly embrace HIV for if it weren't for HIV I would have never found my true love. If I had never contracted HIV then I would have shied away from her and most likely rejected her like most people would. If I find my true love through HIV, then I will have to say that catching HIV was the best thing that ever happened to me. So please someone somewhere out there, please rescue me. I will eventually learn to live with HIV on my own, but with a loving and accepting mate, I will learn to love HIV.

I am a very loyal lover. I can see past a person's faults. I'm tall, light skinned, and a good conversationalist. I work in the electronics field and recently completed school with an Associate's in Electrical Engineering. I don't go to bars and I don't go "clubbing it". I prefer quiet evenings at home, but with some arm twisting, you could get me to go out. I never liked being alone and prefer being in a relationship.
