Being HIV positive never really bothered me.
Hi, I was diagnosed in 2016. I remember the doctor telling me and just being like okay. I have to say that this was at a point in time where a lot of gay men were coming up positive. So hearing from my doctor that I'd come up positive just didn't hit hard. I remember feel a sense of empowerment, like I could wreck someone's world if I wanted. I did take the chance to come out to my family, household only. I don't see myself as part of a community. Though I do wonder at times what I'm missing out on.
