I am a professional gay black man living my life with purpose, even with multiple health conditions. They don't stop me from thriving. I work full-time from home; facilitate a support group; and tell my story to others who are impacted by a chronic health condition, their significant others, family, and health professionals. I love to cuddle with my partner while watching a good tv show or movie. I like going on impromptu drives finding hidden gems like homemade apple cider, strawberry pie, or ice cream. My love language is touch with intention or no reason at all, a heart full of compassion and empathy that comes naturally, and acts of service without expecting anything in return. What do I know for sure from growing up in a foster home, being the first to graduate college and law school, being in a 26-year relationship that ended 4 years ago, and through my travels domestically and abroad?
